Technical Support Representative I - Remote

Overview

This position is responsible for providing remote technical support to internal and external customers concerning fundamental mechanical, electronic, and operational aspects of machines. Assists with developing and maintaining technical documentation.

• Provide general technical assistance to customers.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop product knowledge.
• Assist with developing a technical library for customer use.
• Identify and assist with quality-related issues.
• Assist with programming of electronic spare parts.
• Travel periodically for training and assessments.
• Perform other tasks in support of customers.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in technical discipline.
• Two years related experience in field service or manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electronic aspects of machines.
• Basic knowledge of low-voltage switches and sensors.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Current valid driver’s license.
