Overview

The Corporate Counsel, Collections will provide legal oversight, strategic guidance, and risk management for the organization’s debt collection activities, ensuring compliance with laws and optimizing collections strategies.

• Develop and drive the organization’s collections strategy.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant legal experience.
• A Juris Doctorate.
• Membership in good standing with a U.S. state bar.
• Expertise in Commercial Law and Collections regulations.
• Strong knowledge of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
• Experience managing litigation.
• Proficiency in Legal Case Management Software.
• Strong Legal Writing skills.
• Negotiation skills for settlements.
• Effective Time Management and Communication skills.
