Senior Financial Accountant - Remote

Overview

An awesome opportunity exists for an energetic, highly motivated, finance professional to join our team as a Financial Accountant, reporting to the Finance Manager. The role is responsible for producing valid, accurate and complete financial reporting for the operating entities within their remit, including preparing and submitting various statutory and tax obligations in those geographies.

In Short

• Oversee and review bank reconciliations.
• Ensure transactions in the general ledger are valid and accurate.
• Prepare month-end financial packs for review.
• Assist with tax submissions for entities under remit.
• Support year-end audit and draft statutory financial statements.
• Prepare various statutory or regulatory returns.
• Involve in finance improvement projects.
• Liaise internally with other departments.

Requirements

• CA (SA) (essential).
• 0-2 years post qualifying experience (desirable).
• Experience in multi-national groups (preferable).
• Finance business systems experience across ERP platforms (preferably NetSuite).
• Experience in preparing VAT and Corporate tax returns (preferable).
• Experience in regulated industries (preferable).
• Experience in high growth organizations (preferable).
• Advanced time management and organizational skills (essential).
• Advanced MS Office skills (essential).
