Overview

This role involves leading a team in financial crime prevention, ensuring the protection of Monzo and its customers from fraud and money laundering.

• Manage a team of approximately 12 Financial Crime Business Banking Investigators.
• Provide technical coaching and performance feedback.
• Conduct weekly team meetings to ensure engagement and performance.

• Analyse and report on team performance insights.

Requirements

• Experience in managing a team within Financial Crime, ideally in Business Banking.
• Understanding of current financial crime trends.
• Experience in performance management and employee relations cases.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to prioritize problems and assess risk.
• Passion for working in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in conducting investigations in an operational setting.
• Fluency in MacOS, Slack, and GSuite tools.
