Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager, EU - Remote

Overview

The Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager will play a leading role in ensuring the business achieves and maintains compliance with its regulatory requirements and that compliance risk management is embedded across the business.

In Short

• Support the development of a robust compliance function across Monzo’s EU Bank.
• Contribute to the development, review, and implementation of compliance policies.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure regulatory standards.
• Provide advice and oversight to 1LoD teams on regulatory topics.
• Assist in preparing compliance reports for senior management.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments and execute the Annual Compliance Assurance Plan.
• Contribute to regulatory change management processes.
• Deliver conduct and compliance training across Monzo EU.
• Deputise for the Director of Conduct & Compliance Risk as needed.
• Stay updated with emerging regulatory obligations relevant to Monzo EU.

Requirements

• Experience in conduct and/or compliance roles within fintech or financial institutions.
• Knowledge of banking rules and regulations.
• Ability to develop and manage compliance programs.
• Understanding of the regulatory environment in Ireland and the EU.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Collaborative working style with various stakeholders.
• Passion for financial technology and banking transformation.
