Monzo is on a mission to make money work for everyone, moving away from traditional banking practices. They are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel for their insurance distribution business.

In Short

• Lead lawyer for Monzo's insurance distribution business.
• Collaborate with various teams to build and deliver insurance products.
• Advise on regulatory compliance and product development.

• Identify and manage legal risks in insurance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant post-qualification experience in insurance law.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and commercial issues in insurance.
• Experience in both private practice and in-house roles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage diverse stakeholder relationships.
• Passion for banking and technology.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the role.
