Business Affairs Manager - Remote

Overview

Monks is on the lookout for one (1) Business Affairs Manager to join the in-house Legal & Business Affairs team, which works closely together with our content production teams.

In Short

• This is primarily a remote role, but you will work with clients and other team members across North America.
• You will strategize and advise on all Business Affairs matters related to the production of work for an iconic automotive brand.
• The role involves creative review, budgeting, contract review, and negotiation.
• You will handle talent for both SAG Union and Non-Union productions.
• You will work closely with the internal legal team on rights management and clearance matters.
• Reports into the Director of Business Affairs for input on day-to-day responsibilities.

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years of professional experience, preferably in the digital production industry.
• Demonstrable skills in strategic Business Affairs.
• Fluent in English; other language skills are a bonus.
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
• Experience with content and media production and rights clearance.
• In-depth knowledge of SAG-AFTRA Commercials Contract.
• Flexibility and willingness to take on new tasks.
• Proactive, hands-on, result-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
