Overview

This role oversees talent contracts, licensing, clearance, and production guidelines while serving as a key advisor within the organization, ensuring legal compliance and risk management across all advertising and content productions.

• Draft, review, and negotiate talent contracts and likeness releases.
• Advise on union regulations and contract compliance.
• Collaborate with casting agents on celebrity deals.
• Process talent payments and track usage terms.
• Identify legal and financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Provide legal guidance on intellectual property and content usage.
• Manage production insurance and worker's comp for vendors.
• Oversee licensing agreements and ensure compliance.
• Support Momentum's values and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Business Affairs.
• Experience with SAG-AFTRA and non-union talent negotiations.
• Strong knowledge of licensing agreements and risk mitigation.
• Experience with talent payment platforms.
• Ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional attention to detail and contract negotiation skills.
