Business Affairs Manager - Remote

Overview

Monks is on the lookout for one (1) Business Affairs Manager to join the in-house Legal & Business Affairs team, which works closely together with our content production teams.

In Short

• This is primarily a remote role, but you will work with clients and other team members across North America.
• Focus on servicing our automotive client based in Detroit.
• Provide production support to all Monks entities in the Americas.
• Handle talent for both SAG Union and Non-Union productions.
• Negotiate various production-related agreements.
• Work closely with the internal legal team on rights management.
• Responsible for the wrap-up process for live action productions.
• Reports into the Director of Business Affairs.
• Develop your skill set in an international work environment.
• Join a successful and fast-moving organization.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional experience, preferably in digital production.
• Skills in strategic Business Affairs and independence to work with minimal supervision.
• Fluent in English; other languages are a bonus.
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
• Experience with content and media production and rights clearance.
• Knowledge of SAG-AFTRA Commercials Contract.
• Flexibility and willingness to take on new tasks.
• Proactive, hands-on, and able to work under pressure.
