Overview

The Specialist in Market Growth & Retention will assist members with healthcare coverage applications, provide non-clinical reminders, and ensure member satisfaction through effective communication and outreach.

In Short

  • Facilitate outreach and handle inbound calls to members regarding recertification.
  • Manage State dashboards and assist with complex member issues.
  • Provide non-clinical reminders and facilitate care gap closure.
  • Promote member enrollments into plan programs.
  • Assist Medicaid Members with eligibility issues.
  • Conduct outreach to retain members facing disenrollment.
  • Document outreach accurately in databases.
  • Collaborate with leadership for feedback and improvement.
  • Attend community-based member retention events.
  • Maintain certifications and quality scores.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years customer service experience, preferably in a call center.
  • Ability to assess member needs and make thoughtful decisions.
  • NYS Certified Application Counselor Certification required.
  • Associate’s Degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years customer service experience in a call center preferred.
