• MNS is hiring a Surface Water Practice Lead / Principal for its California offices.
• This position has the option of being remote or hybrid.
• Responsible for client engagement, leadership, strategic planning, staff development, and business development.
• Develop and maintain business plans and staffing plans for the Surface Water team.
• Build new relationships and track opportunities with clients.
• Serve as Project Manager and/or technical leader on Surface Water projects.
• Supervise and direct staff across various skill sets.
• Oversee technical and project financial performance of the Surface Water team.
• Engage with the Surface Water industry as a contributor and leader.
• Manage to Key Performance Indicators to meet financial goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or similar.
• Professional Engineer License (CA Civil).
• 10+ years in similar positions with increasing responsibilities.
• 7+ years managing projects.
• 3+ years of experience leading team members.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experienced in business development and marketing.
