Geospatial Analyst - Remote

Overview

MNS Engineers is seeking a Geospatial Analyst to perform GIS tasks and contribute to environmental consulting efforts. The role allows for remote or hybrid work arrangements.

In Short

• Produce publication-quality maps and perform project set-ups.
• Generate spatial calculations and manage geospatial data.
• Maintain and update GIS data and ensure data integrity.
• Explain technical information to users and provide training.
• Stay updated on GIS technology trends and innovations.
• Optional biology/planning tasks for qualified candidates.
• Collaborate with environmental and planning staff on projects.
• Assist in project management and client outreach.
• Drive thought leadership through publications and presentations.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in geospatial sciences, geography, biology, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in environmental consulting.
• 2 years of GIS analysis experience.
• Experience with ArcGIS software.
• Strong team player and effective communicator.
• Valid California driver’s license required.
