Overview

MNS Engineers is hiring a Regulatory Permitting Project Manager to support our growing regulatory permitting and biological resources team. This position is ideal for an experienced candidate who wants to lead their own team of biologists and regulatory specialists and take a meaningful leadership role in team building and project execution.

In Short

• Support clients in environmental permitting tasks.
• Lead jurisdictional delineations and related fieldwork.
• Provide project management oversight and client interaction.
• Lead business development activities and proposal preparations.
• Serve as a project/task manager on regulatory permitting projects.
• Drive thought leadership through presentations and publications.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Supervise and manage entry-level staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Resources, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• Completion of wetland delineation training.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in vegetation mapping and habitat assessments.
• Experience in mitigation compliance and construction monitoring.
• Preferred management experience.
• Strong technical writing and analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• High energy and results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to handle critical conversations effectively.
