In Short

• The Automation Test Engineer leads the design, development, and execution of automated tests to identify software defects.
• Ensure the quality of applications through the creation of scripts and test cases.
• Contractor to the United States Air Force.
• Rate: $55.29 - $56.73 per hour during the initial six-month contract term.
• Potential salary of $130,000 - $140,000 upon conversion to a permanent employee.
• Remote work based on customer needs.
• Requires U.S. Citizenship due to government contract.
• Must have a DoD successfully adjudicated T3 investigation.
• Proficient in Selenium, Java, and JavaScript.
• Must work independently with little oversight.

Requirements

• An undergraduate degree in a technical or computer field or 5 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience related to the required duties.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Detailed understanding of incident management and system administration.
• Experience with AI-driven test automation approaches is desirable.
• Proficient in Playwright, JUnit, JMeter, or Cucumber is a plus.
• Experience in Python, ReactJS, or NodeJS is also desirable.
• Ability to work within a cross-functional, geographically dispersed team.
• Self-motivated with a focus on completing contractual commitments.
• Must be able to conduct meetings and presentations.
