Overview

The Tier 2 Technical Support Engineer will provide the second-line of support to our customers, partners, and consultants, collaborating closely with a worldwide team to resolve software issues and address customer requests.

In Short

  • Provide assistance to customers, consultants, and partners on the usage of Mitratech products through various support channels.
  • Troubleshoot issues by reproducing the problem and determining resolution.
  • Triage newly reported problems and assign proper severity.
  • Update the ticket tracking system for accurate support issue status.
  • Create Knowledge-base articles to expand self-help tools.
  • 2+ years of experience in enterprise software applications support.
  • Experience writing SQL queries and working with Java/J2EE applications.
  • Familiarity with Application Servers like Tomcat or Weblogic.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor or Master of Science in Computer Science/Engineering or relevant experience required.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with enterprise software applications.
  • Experience writing SQL queries required.
  • Experience with Java/J2EE applications required.
  • Experience with Application Servers such as Tomcat, Weblogic preferred.
  • Experience with performance tuning of applications or databases preferred.
  • Experience with relational databases including Oracle and/or SQL Server preferred.
  • Experience with Windows and/or Unix operating systems.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Highly dependable and professional.
  • Motivated self-starter with a positive attitude.
