Overview

Mitratech is seeking a highly motivated Collection Specialist to contact clients and collect outstanding payments while ensuring professionalism and trustworthiness.

In Short

• Monitor customer accounts for outstanding invoices.
• Contact clients to encourage timely payments.
• Investigate historical data for outstanding invoices.
• Resolve billing and customer payment inquiries.
• Maintain records of account status and collection efforts.
• Analyze aging reports related to invoicing activities.
• Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status.
• Assist the billing team with transactions as needed.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Collections Specialist.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in collections.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Salesforce Billing, NetSuite, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and collection regulations.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working with targets.
• 3 years in collections, customer service, or accounting.
• Proficiency in Excel required.
