Senior Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

Mitek is a global leader in digital & biometric identity authentication, fraud prevention, and mobile deposit solutions. We are looking for a passionate backend developer to join our collaborative team to build and maintain our backend systems to meet high-traffic workloads and help design/implement a backlog of new features/products.

In Short

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain production-ready API solutions.
• Write and execute unit/integration/performance tests to ensure product quality.
• Create and maintain internal and public API documentation.
• Collaborate with software engineers, researchers, product managers, and cloud/operations engineers.
• Follow Agile/Scrum processes like daily stand-ups and retrospectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience designing and deploying solutions on AWS.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Hands-on experience with microservices or serverless architectures.
