Site Safety & Health Officer - Remote

Overview

The Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) is responsible for ensuring safety compliance on construction projects, managing safety programs, and enforcing health guidelines.

In Short

• Full-time position with a Monday-Friday schedule.
• Responsible for developing and reviewing Accident Prevention Plans.
• Conduct safety orientations and toolbox meetings.
• Manage on-site safety and health compliance.
• Implement safety training programs.
• Conduct inspections and document safety meetings.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety guidelines.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Preference given to qualified tribal members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of construction industry safety experience preferred.
• EM 385 1-1 certification required.
• 30-hour OSHA Certification required.
• Certifications in various safety training programs.
• Experience with federal government construction projects is a plus.
