Site Safety and Health Officer - Remote

Overview

The Site Safety and Health Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with EHS programs at GE Hydro Power Plant, supporting the project team in maintaining a safe work environment.

In Short

• Act as the EHS representative on site.
• Conduct regular EHS inspections and identify improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in EHS.
• Minimum of 5 years EHS experience in construction projects.
• Knowledge of the energy business, especially hydro.
• EHS local certification required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Practical experience in risk elimination.
• High energy, self-starter attitude.
