Finance Manager (Month-End Accounting Focus) - Remote

Overview

The Finance Manager will take ownership of key month-end processes and contribute to the smooth running of core financial operations at Midnite, a next-generation betting platform.

In Short

• Manage and deliver key aspects of the monthly close process.
• Perform and review bank reconciliations.
• Own the PSP reconciliation process.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition across sportsbook and casino.
• Help improve accounting workflows.
• Assist with preparation of management reporting packs.
• Provide accurate financial data for decision-making.
• Work collaboratively with the finance team.
• Maintain clear documentation for accounting processes.
• Coordinate with external advisors for statutory requirements.

Requirements

• Part-qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
• Experience in month-end accounting and financial control.
• Familiarity with payment service providers (PSPs).
• Good understanding of UK GAAP/IFRS.
• Prior experience in online betting or gaming industry is a plus.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge.
