Finance Manager (Month-End Accounting Focus) - Remote

Overview

The Finance Manager will take ownership of key month-end processes and contribute to the smooth running of core financial operations at Midnite, a next-generation betting platform.

In Short

• Manage and deliver key aspects of the monthly close process.
• Perform and review bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy.
• Own the PSP reconciliation process.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition across sportsbook and casino.
• Help improve accounting workflows focusing on automation.
• Assist with management reporting packs and variance analysis.
• Work collaboratively with other finance team members.
• Provide accurate financial data to support decision-making.
• Coordinate with external advisors for statutory requirements.
• Contribute to a best-in-class finance function.

Requirements

• Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
• Experience in month-end accounting and financial control.
• Familiarity with payment service providers.
• Understanding of UK GAAP/IFRS.
• Prior experience in online betting or gaming is a plus.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and variance analysis.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accountability.
• Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of financial systems.
