Overview

As a Relationship Manager at Mercury, your role will be grounded in engaging with our early-stage customer base to develop relationships focused on account retention and growth.

In Short

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, supporting them in optimizing their banking and financial workflows.
  • Manage a large portfolio, ensuring operational efficiency and effective client engagement.
  • Upsell and cross-sell new features and products to drive product value and revenue.
  • Maintain customer records using our tech stack (Salesforce, Salesloft, Gong, Slack, etc.).
  • Act as an internal advocate for customers, summarizing insights to inform product development.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, engineering, and marketing teams to support customer needs.

Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of experience in Account Management, Sales, or Relationship Management.
  • Experience in SaaS or FinTech is a bonus.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to create impact for customers while maintaining process and detail.
  • Proactive in listening to customer goals and delivering engagement strategies.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize projects.
  • Effective at building relationships with internal stakeholders.
