Overview

The Area Vice President, Payer Sales will play a pivotal role in MedeAnalytics’ go-to-market team and the company’s overall growth and success. This candidate will be expected to develop meaningful and productive relationships with both internal colleagues and a wide array of leaders at healthcare payer organizations.

  • Develop and manage relationships with healthcare payer organizations.
  • Utilize consultative selling techniques to present innovative capability-based deals.
  • Exceed a multi-million-dollar annual sales quota.
  • Identify and connect with decision-makers and key stakeholders.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to develop qualified leads.
  • Navigate complex buying processes and negotiate contracts.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create partner-focused materials.
  • Work with product and solution consulting to drive client pursuits.
  • Support client contracting processes and develop pricing models.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare IT sales.
  • Strong understanding of technology such as data activation and public cloud.
  • Knowledge of healthcare, including value-based care and ACOs.
  • Ability to construct innovative capability-based deals.
  • Demonstrated sales track record in competitive environments.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and design sales strategies.
  • Experience with analytical tools like Excel and Tableau.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Passionate about healthcare.
