Associate Manager - Project Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Associate Manager - Project Accountant will work in collaboration with the Grant Finance Manager to implement the project’s infrastructure and systems needed to support the project and the organization’s strategic objectives, ensuring compliance with nonprofit accounting standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a nonprofit.
• Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting principles and GAAP.
• Knowledge of USG Rules and Regulations including FAR and 2CFR200.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools.
• Experience in cradle-to-grave project finances.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex financial concepts to all staff levels.
• Experience in fast-growing nonprofit environments preferred.
