Live Events Associate - Remote

Overview

The Live Events Associate will coordinate the Day Out With Thomas touring program, managing events across the United States and Canada while ensuring a high-quality experience for attendees.

In Short

• Coordinate 25+ events annually across the US and Canada.
• Travel to up to 15 events each year for 4-16 days.
• Main point of contact for host railroads.
• Oversee marketing, site planning, and operations.
• Assist with event setup, execution, and breakdown.
• Maximize marketing opportunities and track ticket sales.
• Review and provide input on event plans and marketing.
• Submit wrap reports with recommendations for improvements.
• Maintain event assets and logistics.
• Communicate marketing initiatives and evaluate results.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in event coordination.
• Ability to travel approximately 70% of the time.
• Experience in live events or themed attractions preferred.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive team player.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Strong project management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.
