AML Transaction Monitoring Data Analyst - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced AML Transaction Monitoring Data Analyst with over 10 years of expertise in the AML domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both business and data analysis, with hands-on experience in AML in Transaction Monitoring projects.

In Short

• Analyze source system data and map data attributes to target data models.
• Perform Data analysis to identify gaps, data discovery and to present these findings in a representable manner to the compliance business and operations users.
• Develop comprehensive data mapping documents.
• Define data transformation logic based on business requirements for data mapping from source to target.
• Collaborate with users to understand, document, and define requirements.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure accurate implementation.
• Utilize AML monitoring tools such as Actimize, Oracle, SAS, etc., for effective monitoring and analysis.
• Analyze transactional data including Trades, Cash, Checks, ACH, Cards, Wires, Lease, Loans, etc.
• Write SQL and Spark queries for data analysis and debugging purposes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as an AML Data Analyst in AML Transaction Monitoring projects.
• Proficiency in analyzing and mapping data from source systems to target data models.
• Experience in developing data mapping documents and defining data transformation logic.
• Strong ability to understand and document business requirements.
• Expertise in analyzing various types of transactional data.
• Proficiency in writing SQL and Spark queries for data analysis and debugging.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
