Middle Office Associate, Investment Operations - Remote

Overview

The Middle Office Associate is responsible for overseeing Trade Settlement client relationships, providing excellent customer service and loan settlement services while adhering to strict deadlines.

In Short

• Manage client portfolio(s) in loan Trade Settlement outsourcing services.
• Communicate effectively with clients and trade counterparties.
• Coordinate trade documentation and legal follow-up for distressed trades.
• Review trade documentation for discrepancies before settlement.
• Deliver closing packets to custodians and clients on time.
• Report client metrics and trends monthly.
• Ensure adherence to deadlines and targets.
• Prepare reports for internal management and special client requests.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Participate in high-volume periods and assist other groups.

Requirements

• Excellent attention to detail and strong work ethic.
• Initiative and ownership of responsibilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• BA or BS or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of par and distressed loans is a plus.
• Experience with daily loan transactions preferred.
• Familiarity with ClearPar/TSI/Markit WSO systems is a plus.
• Right to work in the United States is required.
