Overview

The VP, Growth is a key leadership role within the Growth Engine, focused on driving new business acquisition and managing large growth opportunities with existing clients.

In Short

  • Lead Joint Pipeline Development: Oversee prospecting, networking, qualifying leads, engaging in buying conversations, and converting opportunities into new business.
  • Guide and Facilitate Solutions Architecting: Collaborate with practice leads to design, communicate/represent and propose solutions that address client needs.
  • Lead Proposal Development & Closing Conversations: Drive the creation of proposals and manage closing conversations to secure new business.
  • Support Client Contracting & Onboarding: Facilitate the contracting process and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new clients.
  • Lead Pipeline Tracking & Reporting: Monitor and report on pipeline activities to ensure effective management and visibility of leads.
  • Support Strategic Growth Partnerships: Contribute to the development and management of strategic partnerships that drive business growth.
  • Support Organic Business Expansion: Aid in identifying and pursuing opportunities for growth within existing client accounts.
  • Support Demand Marketing for Business Unit: Assist in the execution of demand marketing programs to generate leads.
  • Assist in sales channel development through partnerships with marketing and tech vendors.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in sales, business development, or a related strategic leadership role.
  • Previous agency experience in strategy, account planning, brand development or marketing technology.
  • Strong understanding of key marketing frameworks (like ABM, demand gen, media).
  • Good understanding of MarTech landscape (ABM platforms, data platforms, CRM).
  • Identifiable personal network and involvement in marketing community is preferred.
  • Strong background in managing the agency sales process.
  • Ability to guide solutions architecture and collaborate with practice leads.
  • Excellent writing, communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Experience in client onboarding and pipeline management.
