Banking Services Group Leader III - Commercial Lending Operations - Remote

Overview

Serves as team leader within assigned Commercial Lending Operations unit with guidance from manager, guiding workflow, managing exceptions, and assisting in process improvement and related projects.

In Short

• Monitor workflow and serve as liaison between the Commercial Lending Operations unit and management.
• Provide training and coaching to the team on daily work functions.
• Assist with onboarding new hires and production work as needed.
• Complete daily production reporting and maintain team procedures.
• Participate in special projects and manage exceptions within the team.
• Research and resolve complex customer issues and escalations.
• Provide vendor support and resolve regulatory complaints.
• Review and approve wire transfers as required.
• Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
• Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.

Requirements

• A combined minimum of 5 years’ higher education and/or relevant work experience.
• Work leadership experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of relevant spreadsheet and word processing software.
• Proven verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of systems, documents, and procedures in assigned area.
