Tier 1 IT Field Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Tier 1 IT Field Engineer provides expert remote and on-site technical support for business clients, working primarily in the Phoenix area.

In Short

• 80% work from customer sites in Phoenix, 20% work from home.
• Handle escalation calls/tickets from Tier 1 helpdesk staff.
• Troubleshoot servers, network devices, and cloud systems.
• Provide quality customer service in all communications.
• Document resolutions and update procedures.
• Engage in continued certification training.
• Work individually and collaboratively as an engineer.
• Install and troubleshoot network equipment.
• Report critical incidents for complex issues.
• Flexibility to work some holidays and weekends.

Requirements

• Hands-on knowledge of computer systems and networks.
• Associates degree preferred; significant experience accepted.
• Minimum two years’ experience in IT support.
• Experience with Windows servers, Office365, and help desk skills.
• Certifications in CompTIA A+, N+, or S+ preferred.
