In Short

• Perform maintenance and repair on laboratory equipment to ensure functionality.
• Diagnose and analyze technical issues with devices and systems.
• Install and commission new equipment and train laboratory staff.
• Provide customer support for technical questions and issues.
• Document all work performed, including service reports.
• Manage procurement and replacement of spare parts.
• Ensure quality and compliance of laboratory devices with standards.
• Deliver devices for installation to laboratories or practices.
• Participate in national trade fairs and conferences as needed.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team.

Requirements

• Completed training in electrical engineering, medical technology, mechatronics, or similar qualification.
• Experience in maintenance and repair of laboratory diagnostic devices.
• Technical understanding and ability to quickly diagnose complex systems.
• Independent, solution-oriented work style and high initiative.
• Good communication skills with customers and team members.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and flexibility for on-site work.
• Proficient in IT (MS Office, service software, laboratory information systems).
• Ideally based in North Rhine-Westphalia; valid driver's license required.
