Factory Service Technician - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Factory Service Technician in western Long Island to be the F&P brand ambassador for repairs, transforming moments of panic into delight for our clients by assessing and fixing our products within their homes.

In Short

• Be the first face our customer sees for appliance repairs.
• Manage territory by driving F&P-branded vans to appointments.
• Repair products and manage van stock and spare parts inventory.
• Complete service paperwork and communicate with clients and the internal team.
• Develop and maintain product knowledge through training.
• Work cross-collaboratively with the sales team.
• 1-3 years of appliance repair experience required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• EPA certification for Sealed System refrigeration repairs preferred.
• Experience with Fisher & Paykel Appliances preferred.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret schematics and diagrams.
• Experience using tools and equipment for repairs.
• Strong communication skills.
• Customer service orientation.
• Ability to manage inventory effectively.
• Team collaboration skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• EPA certification (preferred).
• Experience with Fisher & Paykel products (preferred).
• Willingness to learn and adapt.
