In Short

• Support sample management and safe materials handling.
• Lift and handle samples up to 25kg.
• Prepare samples for testing using various methods.
• Conduct laboratory testing on construction materials.
• Participate in relevant CCIL certifications.
• Support equipment maintenance and laboratory housekeeping.
• Report safety observations in the laboratory.
• Interact with staff including technicians and professionals.

Requirements

• Post-secondary technical education in Civil Engineering/Technology or related discipline.
• Experience in a materials laboratory (preferred).
• Initiative and willingness to learn.
• Detail-oriented and organized work ethic.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Independent thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently.
• Team-oriented focus and collaborative spirit.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
