Part-Time Telemedicine Psychiatrist for Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program - Remote

Overview

Lyra Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced part-time psychiatrist to provide crucial psychiatric support to our virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (vIOP). This role involves delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in a virtual group setting, collaborating with therapists and other care team members.

In Short

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for vIOP participants.
• Provide expert psychopharmacological management and medication monitoring.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop treatment plans.
• Offer clinical consultation to therapists on complex cases.
• Conduct brief follow-up appointments for medication management.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all psychiatric records.
• Maintain ethical and legal standards in practice.
• Utilize telehealth platforms effectively for care delivery.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives for the vIOP program.

Requirements

• MD or DO, ABPN board certified in psychiatry.
• Unrestricted California license.
• Leadership experience with a strong collaborative background.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Eager to deliver collaborative mental health care.
• Experience managing risk and responding to clinical crises.
• Experience providing telehealth services preferred.
• Computer and live video tools literacy required.
• Full-time resident of the United States.
