Senior Managed Services Engineer - Remote

Overview

Lucidworks is leading digital transformation for some of the world's biggest retailers, financial services firms, manufacturers, and B2B commerce organizations. The Managed Services Team is responsible for the maintenance of configurations implemented for Managed Fusion customers.

In Short

• Act as a senior technical expert providing support for Managed Fusion customers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex ingestion and system performance issues.
• Identify and document product issues, collaborating with engineering teams.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis for high-impact issues.
• Participate in design and implementation of automation tools.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of knowledge sharing.
• Provide thought leadership in troubleshooting methodologies.
• Collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones.
• Communicate effectively with customers via ticketing systems.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in technical support or software development.
• Expertise in Lucene/Solr or Lucidworks Fusion is required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in Java and scripting languages for debugging.
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
• Ability to analyze logs and performance metrics effectively.
• Experience with connectors, web crawlers, and API integrations.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, XML, JSON, and REST APIs.
• Excellent communication skills for enterprise-level support.
• Prior experience in incident management and customer escalations.
