Overview

The primary purpose of this role is to conduct workplace complaint investigations and resolve employee issues while providing consultation and guidance for sustainable solutions.

In Short

  • Collaborates with HR, Legal, and Field Operations to resolve employee inquiries and investigations.
  • Reviews and audits HR work for compliance and operational support.
  • Analyzes trends and provides recommendations for improved employee engagement.
  • Manages investigative case assignments and tracks their progress.
  • Documents findings to minimize risk and litigation.
  • Proactively works to reduce the number of complaints through various initiatives.
  • Recommends solutions and assists in resolving employee and union concerns.
  • Supports process improvements and provides peer coaching.
  • Presents findings to leaders and influences decision-making.
  • Takes on challenging projects related to legal and employee relations matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, HR, Labor Relations, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in HR Generalist or Employee Relations roles.
  • Advanced knowledge of workplace complaint investigations and EEO compliance.
  • Experience in resolving complex employee relations issues.
  • Maintains licenses and continued education credits.
