Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Freelance/Part-Time Business Development Representative (BDR) to join Loka, the 2024 AWS Innovation Partner of the Year, for a 3-month experiment (February–April 2025). This initiative is designed to drive pipeline growth and strengthen our position as a top AWS partner.

In Short

  • Drive 50–65 Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and 6–13 Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
  • Focus on SMB lead generation and outreach.
  • Identify and nurture new opportunities aligned with AWS funding programs.
  • Strengthen relationships with AWS sales teams.
  • Follow structured outreach processes and provide weekly updates.
  • Contribute to a final Q1 review assessing success metrics.
  • 2–5 years of business development or sales experience required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills needed.
  • Results-driven with a focus on metrics and ROI.
  • Comfortable working in a part-time, freelance capacity.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of business development or sales experience, ideally in the cloud, SaaS, or tech ecosystem.
  • Experience working with AWS sales teams or cloud-focused campaigns is highly preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for building trust.
  • Results-driven with a focus on metrics, ROI, and strategic alignment.
  • Comfortable working in a part-time, freelance capacity with minimal supervision.
