ISSO Engineer - Bench Hire - Remote

Overview

Loch Harbour Group seeks accomplished ISSO Engineers with expertise in coordinating and executing information security initiatives. These are bench hire positions, meaning the selected candidates will be hired in anticipation of future project needs and assigned to client work as opportunities arise. MUST LIVE IN THE WASHINGTON DC METRO AREA.

In Short

• Provide support to plan, coordinate, and implement the organization's information security.
• Facilitate and help agencies identify their current security infrastructure.
• Oversee security staff efforts to implement solutions to security requirements.
• Perform risk analyses and assessments.
• Conduct security analysis and compliance reviews for IT initiatives.
• Provide IT security subject matter expertise on projects and procedures.
• Conduct IT security training for all employees.
• Perform on-site security vulnerability testing as required.
• Direct IT security tasks as required by the CISO.
• Bench hire role anticipating upcoming contract needs.

Requirements

• Ability to serve as Information System Security Officer.
• Working knowledge of business security practices and tools.
• 7+ years experience in information assurance audits.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• CISSP certification required; additional certifications preferred.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Active Secret or Top Secret clearance preferred.
