Overview

The Technical Support Specialist is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues across business applications, networking, and hardware to ensure customer satisfaction.

In Short

  • This is a fully remote position located in the United States.
  • Field support calls, chat, and email inquiries from users.
  • Collaborate with customers to troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues.
  • Create Knowledge base articles for common customer challenges.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 support.
  • Mentor junior staff within the support team.
  • Maintain documentation of customer interactions and resolutions.
  • Complete training and maintain knowledge of technological trends.
  • Follow change and problem management processes.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with teams.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in IT customer support.
  • Experience with applications like Primavera, Autodesk, or ESRI.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server 2016 & 2019.
  • Ability to handle case escalations and resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
