Overview

The Online Communities Program Specialist is responsible for the daily operations of The Lingraphica Community programs, providing virtual support and conversation group sessions for individuals with communication disorders.

In Short

• Create and launch virtual session events for online communities.
• Monitor and respond to member and facilitator inquiries.
• Facilitate regular virtual conversation and support group sessions.
• Collaborate with the Online Communities Manager on program initiatives.
• Represent Lingraphica program offerings to consumers and SLPs.
• Assist in planning and executing content for virtual sessions.
• Identify and nurture relationships with communication disorder organizations.
• Coordinate special virtual events and session offerings.
• Create and analyze surveys to identify trends.
• Assist with marketing initiatives to promote online community offerings.

Requirements

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Strong technological skills, including Microsoft Office, Canva, and Zoom.
• Consistent world-class customer service.
• Strong communication skills, including public speaking.
• Creative mindset and willingness to challenge the status quo.
• Associate’s degree in communication sciences or related field.
• SLPA certification or clinical experience preferred.
• Experience with aging populations or disabled individuals required.
• Experience leading or participating in support groups required.
• Proficiency with HubSpot, Slack, and community platforms preferred.
