Senior Manager, Government Relations - Pacific Northwest - Remote

We are hiring a Senior Manager, Government Relations for the Pacific Northwest, to join Lime’s global policy and communications team. In this role, you will partner directly with the operations team on-site to promote our community presence in cities across the U.S. Northwest. You will advance policies that promote micromobility; preserve, expand, and develop new micromobility programs in cities throughout the region; grow our fleet size across multiple vehicle types; and ensure that we are developing meaningful, trusting relationships with key micromobility stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in building partnerships with community and government stakeholders, and communicating the values of our service to regulators, the media and other key constituencies which will require on-site meetings. You will also be comfortable working in an environment with evolving goals and have an aptitude to overcome obstacles as they arise and ambition to get things done.

In Short

• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with government leaders, businesses, non-profits, community organizations, the media and other prospective partners.
• Participate in media interviews and speak at government and community forums on-site.
• Evaluate, prioritize, and implement strategic paths toward maintaining and growing the fleet of Lime vehicles.
• Collaborate with regional operations and policy teams to develop a long-term government relations strategy.
• Work with comms and marketing teams on educational and safety initiatives.
• Analyze local regulatory or legislative matters affecting operations.
• Create models and best practices for stakeholder engagement and operational efficiency.
• Manage teams of consultants in multiple markets as needed.

Requirements

• Fluency in English; ability to speak in public and to the media.
• At least five years of experience in government affairs, public policy, or community development.
• A minimum of three years working with municipal/state government in the PNW region.
• Ability to multitask and execute projects in a demanding environment.
• Analytical and strategic mindset for driving high-impact initiatives.
• Availability to travel as needed.
• Previous experience in transportation and mobility is beneficial.
