Product Owner - Automation and Intelligence - Remote

Overview

Leidos is seeking a passionate and results-driven Product Owner to lead and manage a portfolio of technology-enabled continuous improvement initiatives in support of our internal operations and Department of Defense (DoD) customers.

In Short

• Serve as the Product Owner for intelligent automation and AI/ML-enabled improvement initiatives.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog using Jira; write clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Support the implementation of improvements using UiPath, AI, and ML tools.
• Collaborate with business units and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Facilitate the progression of improvement efforts through the DMAIC lifecycle.
• Monitor and report on the value delivered by process improvements.
• Maintain and improve a continuous improvement framework.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Participate in change management and adoption efforts.
• Work with Agile teams and methodologies.

Requirements

• B.S. Degree and 4–8 years of relevant experience or Masters with 2–6 years of experience.
• 4+ years as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role with Agile teams.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Experience managing work in Jira and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of UiPath capabilities and AI/ML techniques.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma or DMAIC methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
