Overview

The Civil Group at Leidos is seeking an early career GenAI Application Developer to build and enhance AI-powered applications for an AWS Contact Center As a Service (CCAS) platform, focusing on conversation flow design and customer experience improvement.

In Short

• Develop and configure Amazon Connect applications.
• Integrate Lex V2 bots for customer interactions.
• Implement AI orchestration using AWS Lambda (Python).
• Ensure data safety and compliance for AI applications.
• Support web and chat integrations with APIs.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and documentation.
• Monitor performance metrics and optimize workflows.
• Collaborate with senior developers and UI/UX designers.
• Participate in threat modeling and compliance remediation.
• Work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of software development experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Connect and Lex V2.
• Familiarity with conversational AI design principles.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of security practices in AWS.
• Strong communication skills for documentation and collaboration.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Preferred: Experience with Amazon Bedrock and RAG pipelines.
• Preferred: Relevant AWS certifications.
