Overview

Leavitt Group is hiring a Customer Service Agent to support our clients and carriers by managing day-to-day service tasks, processing renewals, and responding to policy-related inquiries in a remote setting.

In Short

  • Remote position for candidates in the Central or Eastern Time Zone.
  • Full-time role with a salary of $50,000–$55,000/year depending on experience.
  • Work closely with Account Managers to support clients and carriers.
  • Monitor and process emails in agency inboxes.
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding policy changes and service needs.
  • Process certificate of insurance requests and assist clients in claims.
  • Record client interactions and update management system files.
  • Participate in team meetings and continuing education classes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
  • Previous customer service experience in insurance preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
  • Experience handling difficult customer interactions.
  • Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced remote environment.
  • Working knowledge of insurance products and underwriting.
