Surgical Technologist II - Part-Time - Remote

Overview

The Surgical Technologist acts as a member of the surgical team in providing patient care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, preparing instrumentation and materials for use on the surgical field, and assisting during surgical operations.

Requirements

• Completion of a formal surgical technology program.
• Two or more years of experience required.
• Ability to provide comfort and support for patients.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and anatomy.
• Advanced knowledge of operating room emergencies.
• Ability to communicate effectively in various formats.
• Knowledge of computer systems used in the functional area.
• BLS certification required; CST preferred.
