Overview

The Surgical Tech at Mass General Hospital plays an important role in the operating room and is responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment, as well assists with the peri-operative care of patients.

• Full time Surgical Tech positions available in the MGH Endoscopy unit.
• Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment.
• Assist with the peri-operative care of patients.
• Work closely with surgeons and nurses.
• Strong understanding of sterile techniques required.

• Shift requirement: 40 hours, Monday through Friday.
• On call Sunday and Holiday requirement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
• Current Surgical Technologist Certification required within one year.
• Preferred: 1 year experience as Surgical Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
