The Surgical Technologist is a vital member of the surgical team responsible for providing intraoperative care to surgical patients, ensuring effective communication and safety during procedures.

In Short

• Full-time position with 40 hours per week.
• Shifts are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
• Eligible for a one-time bonus of $10,000 after 90 days and 12 months of hire.
• Responsible for patient care and safety during surgical procedures.
• Collaborates with the circulating nurse to prepare for surgeries.
• Maintains aseptic technique and follows hospital policies.
• Participates in quality assurance monitoring.
• Attends staff conferences and educational in-services.
• Must obtain Surgical Technologist Certification within one year of graduation.
• Promotes harmonious working relationships among staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
• Current Surgical Technologist Certification required within one year.
• Ability to lift moderate weights and stand for long periods.
• Knowledge of basic life support policies and procedures.
• Commitment to quality patient care and safety.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Understanding of infection control policies.
