Part-time Epidemiologist III - Remote

Overview

The CDC Foundation is seeking a part-time Epidemiologist III who will work 20 hours per week to support the Arizona Department of Health Services, have extensive data analysis experience, and advanced statistical software (e.g. SAS or R) experience.

Requirements

• Masters in epidemiology, biostatistics, informatics, or public health.
• 4 years of relevant epidemiology experience or a PhD/DrPH with 1 year experience.
• Proficient knowledge of epidemiological principles and statistical analysis.
• Advanced communication skills, both oral and written.
• Experience with database management and program evaluation.
• Ability to analyze and interpret public health data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and statistical software (SAS, R).
• Understanding of public health surveillance systems.
• Experience with the US health care system.
• Ability to support a diverse workforce and promote inclusivity.
