Overview

The CDC Foundation is seeking candidates for a Senior Epidemiologist position. This position will be an integral part of the Global Rotavirus Vaccine Impact and Effectiveness project team, focusing on understanding oral rotavirus vaccine performance in high burden settings.

In Short

• Conduct acute gastroenteritis surveillance and evaluations.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in epidemiology or related field; PhD preferred.
• Five years of epidemiology experience required.
• Experience in vaccine effectiveness evaluations.
• Field epidemiology and public health program management experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft suite and statistical software.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Experience collaborating with international health partners.
• Ability to perform qualitative data analyses.
• Demonstrated diplomatic skills.
