Overview

As a Customer Service Support Representative at Labcorp, you will be part of a team dedicated to enhancing healthcare delivery through effective client billing support and customer service.

In Short

  • Manage outbound calls and email replies, averaging 50-60 outreaches per day.
  • Invoice, monitor, and resolve aging accounts receivable for client accounts.
  • Follow standard operating procedures to resolve denied claims.
  • Evaluate policies and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Document all accounts accurately and comply with guidelines.
  • Communicate with physicians, insurance companies, and patients.
  • Utilize tools to verify eligibility and claim status.
  • Work from home with a dedicated workspace.
  • Maintain productivity and manage time effectively.

Requirements

  • Associates degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent high school diploma with 3+ years of experience.
  • Prior healthcare customer service experience preferred.
  • Experience in medical billing and collections is a plus.
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and think critically.
  • Dedicated workspace for remote work.
  • Internet speed of at least 50 Mbps.
  • Ability to connect equipment via Ethernet.
